Mobile Pet Aftercare

How Mobile Pet Cremation Pickup Works in Sacramento and Stockton

Mobile pet cremation pickup is designed to reduce the burden on families after a pet passes away. Principles Pet Cremations coordinates respectful pickup from homes and veterinary clinics throughout Sacramento, Stockton, and surrounding areas.

1. Contact Principles When Your Family Is Ready

When your pet passes away, your family may take time to say goodbye before making arrangements. Once you are ready, call Principles Pet Cremations at (209) 227-9303. We’ll explain what happens next and help you choose the appropriate aftercare option.

2. Confirm the Pickup Location

Pickup can be coordinated from your home or from a veterinary clinic. Families who are already at a veterinary office may still choose Principles for aftercare if they prefer our process and service options.

3. Schedule the Pickup

Principles generally works with families to schedule pickup within two to four hours so there is time to grieve and say goodbye. Expedited service may be available when a faster response is needed.

4. Your Pet Is Respectfully Recovered and Transported

At pickup, your pet is respectfully recovered and transported back to the facility for preparation. From there, the pet is transported to the crematory for final transition.

5. Identification Follows Your Pet Through the Process

Your pet receives a unique identification number that follows them through the transition process and appears on the cremation certificate. This creates a consistent chain of care from pickup through completion.

6. Cremation Is Completed According to the Selected Service

Principles offers private and communal cremation options. The service selected determines whether ashes are returned and which memorial items are included.
