Framework choice – React or Vue, Python or Go, AWS or Azure – is rarely what makes an industry build succeed or fail. Domain fit is. A fintech ledger written by an engineer who’s never seen double-entry accounting ships bugs that a fintech-native engineer would have caught in code review. A healthcare integration written without understanding HL7 v2 versus FHIR resources ships an EHR connector that stalls on the first non-happy-path Epic record.

For the nine industries listed on this hub, RCV World teams include engineers with prior shipped work in the sector - the specific integrations, the compliance vocabulary, the failure modes. That does not mean every engineer on the squad is a domain specialist from day one; it means the squad has domain specialists and they're named in the scoping document, not swapped in later. For a sector not on the list, we'll say so at intake rather than pretend generalist engineers cover the domain. Learning-on-your-project is legitimate; being paid to learn on your project while calling it domain expertise is not.

Different buyer, different integration surface, different intent. Fintech is a payments, KYC, ledger, or Open Banking build - usually for a startup or a challenger issuer, with card schemes and PSD2 as the compliance frame. Financial Services is an established bank, broker, or asset manager modernizing on top of core-banking or custody systems, with Financial Services Cloud on Salesforce, market-data feeds, and SEC/FINRA/MiFID II reporting in scope. Keeping them separate matches how the search behaves - buyers type 'fintech software' or 'financial services software', rarely both - and how the engineering differs. Same delivery model, different domain vocabulary.

Some do, some don't. Individual RCV World engineers hold certifications (AWS, Salesforce, PMP, and increasingly IEC 62443 Fundamentals or HITRUST CSF Practitioner) that carry across engagements as evidence of the individual's skill. Company-level attestations (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HITRUST as an entity) apply to RCV World's own operations and are separate from the client's own attestation. RCV World's delivery model produces evidence the client's auditors can accept - but the client's audit is the client's audit, not ours. Yes, at practice level, with the caveat that the certifier is always a separate party. RCV World designs to these standards from Diagnose - the data model, sharing, encryption, and audit trail decisions are made against the standard, not retrofitted at the end. For fintech, we build to PCI-DSS scope reduction and SOC 2 Type II control expectations. For healthcare, we build to HIPAA technical safeguards and HITRUST CSF where the client requires it. For energy,y we build OT-facing components to IEC 62443-4-2. For medical devices, es we prepare the FDA cybersecurity artifacts. RCV World does not issue attestations - we prepare the client and their environment to pass one.

That's the norm, not the exception - a large retailer usually needs both retail commerce and financial services (private-label credit, BNPL); a healthcare provider needs both healthcare integrations and consumer retail patterns for patient-facing experiences; a fintech in insurtech straddles fintech and insurance.
